About us

FireFighterBag.com was founded in 2018 by Tom de Bruijn. With a passion for firefighting, he has been working as a firefighter since 2009 in the Amsterdam-Amstelland region, and previously also served in 24-hour shifts in the Gooi and Vechtstreek region. He is currently a full-time firefighter in Amsterdam-Amstelland. His father was also a firefighter, so it truly runs in the family.

Tom was looking for a high-quality firefighter bag, but couldn't find any good options in the Netherlands. That gave him the idea to design and produce his own backpack. A design was created, and several samples were developed until he was truly satisfied. The result speaks for itself. Since then, several bags and accessories have been added to the collection.

From idea to finished backpack, the entire process took nearly a year. Because quality was a key priority, great care went into every detail. Our bags are water-repellent, durable, and definitely a must-have for any passionate firefighting fan.
